Terms of Use for Soar

1. Who Can Use Soar

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use our Services. By using Soar, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. What Soar Does

Soar helps you track and visualize your travel history using a combination of inbox parsing (with your permission), manual trip entry, and AI-generated insights. Key features include:

• Travel timeline and history
• Visual maps of past and upcoming trips
• AI-generated summaries and travel stats
• Manual input of flight and hotel data

We do not sell travel or act as a booking agency.

3. Your Account

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, up-to-date information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify us promptly at hello@joinsoar.co if you suspect unauthorized access

You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Soar for any unlawful or prohibited purpose
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Services
• Access the Services using automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.)
• Attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent our systems or security

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

5. Email Access and Data Usage

If you choose to connect your email:

• We access only travel-related messages (e.g., flights, hotels)
• We do not access unrelated emails or send emails on your behalf
• You can revoke access at any time

We comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. For more, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

Soar owns or licenses all content, design, code, and branding associated with the Services. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not reproduce, modify, or redistribute any part of the Services without our prior written consent.

7. Service Changes

We may modify or discontinue any part of Soar at any time, without notice or liability. We are not responsible for any loss resulting from interruptions or changes.

8. Disclaimer

Soar is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties regarding the accuracy of flight or travel data, availability of features, or performance of the app.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability to you will not exceed $100 or the amount you paid us (if any), whichever is less.

10. Termination

You may stop using Soar at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we believe you've violated these Terms.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

By agreeing to these Terms, you waive your right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

12. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Services means you accept the revised Terms.
